Keith Takes the Gold!

Our buddy KEITH from Denver placed FIRST in Men's Masters Division at the Falcon 2000 Open Powerlifting Championships in Colorado Springs, CO on February 13th. His awesome totals are a 468 lb. squat, a 468 lb. deadlift, and a 303 lb. bench. He's looking to break the 500 pound barrier in squat and deadlift soon! Check out these pics...

Ed Wins Again!

ED, from Toledo won first in another powerlifting competition on May 13, 2000. This was only his second competition. Just look at all the hardware he's showing off here!

We'll let him tell you the details:

"I lifted in the 275 weight class in the open and sub-masters division. I won both the open and sub-masters divisions in my weight class :-) I totaled 1695 lbs. I weighed in at 256 lbs that day and my lifts were as follows:
SQUAT: 650 lbs and just missed my attempt at 670 lbs...they told me I didn't hit low enuff.
BENCH: 415 lbs and missed my attempt at 430 lbs.
DEADLIFT: 630 lbs and missed my attempted at 650 lbs.
I'm taking the rest of the year off and wont compete again till March 2001. So Im just doing minimal work outs for now. But I will start back to heavy/hard training in mid December and when I do I'm gonna hit it extra HARD.
I'm also thinking about competing in the 2002 Gay Games. I will keep you posted on that."

Michael Wins Mr Idaho!

Our buddy MICHAEL (on the left) just won the 2000 Idaho State Bodybuilding Championships in his weight class, and just missed the overall title. Here's a pic of his winning pose. We're hoping to get a few more soon. Thanks for sharing, BIG guy, and way to go! :-)

Steve Looks Good!!

Our buddy STEVE from LA sends up a few pics of him competing in some hardcore bodybuilding shows in LA. He's placing better and better with each contest. Plus, he blows up HUGE in the off-season! :-) We hope to show ya more of his progress, soon!
